What in tarnation is wrong with all these pineapples, and come to think of it what’s wrong with all my other fruits and various varieties of vegetables? It’s what you’ll be saying after you’re thrown into an odd ball society of mutated plants, animals, and other humans after a nuclear bomb is dropped next to […]

War Thunder Review
War Thunder is one of the more interesting titles on the free-to-play market: it more or less has established the standard for realistic vehicular combat, but simultaneously, the majority of the gameplay is largely involving suffering, punishment, and forced extraction of money from your wallet if you want to break even towards the higher ends […]
Genshin Impact Review (Pt. 5)
So, now we get to the real, important question: do I recommend you try out Genshin Impact, and furthermore, do I recommend you spend money on it? Well, quite frankly, there are worse action games. There are worse exploration games. There’s whatever the hell Cube World became, and in light of things like that… I’ll […]
Genshin Impact Review (Pt. 4)
It’s at this point I stare at the length the three posts already written, look at this one, sigh, and recognize I still have one more to go afterward. Well, time to get the fun part: combat. Hell, I won’t lie, this is probably what anyone who wants my opinion is wanting to read anyway. […]
Genshin Impact Review (Pt. 3)
See, if you thought I was going to talk about the fun part next, that’s because I thought I was going to write about the fun part next. Then something got in the way: a slot machine. Now, here’s the deal, straight up, 100%, gacha is shit, but I’ve played a wide number of free […]
Genshin Impact Review (Pt. 2)
Now, there’s one comment which I’ve seen that holds a pretty strong argument against the main draw of Genshin Impact, which is essentially, exploration is a one-time joy. That’s partially true. You can’t really regain the joy discovery combing over places you’ve been before, but that being said, learning Genshin Impact’s world has its use. […]
Genshin Impact Review (Pt. 1)
Genshin Impact is one of those games which I wish I could recommend, but I can’t do so earnestly. It’s decent. It’s a little more than decent, in fact. It’s actually probably even good. But it’s got a lot of bad, pushing straight into awful, with a good helping of predatory monetization. Before I really […]
DOOM Eternal
If you asked me, before Eternal had came out, from the footage I had seen and the gameplay mechanics the developers were asking, I would say that Eternal solved DOOM 2016’s biggest issues with its sandbox and, on top of that, expanded into a more complicated system which I would normally praise. Unfortunately, that’s the […]
Daemon X Machina Review
So do I recommend it? At a 60$ price point, the game is a bit weak, so whether or not you’ll appreciate that purchase point is likely entirely dependent on your appreciation for the the mecha genre. If you liked the Armored Core series, and From Software’s last entry before abandoning it to jump ship to the Souls IP, could very well sate an itch you’ve probably had for a long time.
