Before I go anywhere else, this one couldn’t have been solo so props go at to Xeltriskal, the lady, the legend. They’re good people. So without going too deep into things I quite frankly don’t fully understand, the best way to explain this is, BXR still works, but it doesn’t work as BXR in Destiny […]

Player Psyche Profiles
Understanding what drives different players can be difficult, and trying to establish what goes through their heads is a whole other challenge – but what if someone already did it for you? What if someone had already gotten into the majority of player’s heads and figured out what was there? Well, quite fortunately, someone already […]
DOOM Eternal
If you asked me, before Eternal had came out, from the footage I had seen and the gameplay mechanics the developers were asking, I would say that Eternal solved DOOM 2016’s biggest issues with its sandbox and, on top of that, expanded into a more complicated system which I would normally praise. Unfortunately, that’s the […]
Daemon X Machina Review
So do I recommend it? At a 60$ price point, the game is a bit weak, so whether or not you’ll appreciate that purchase point is likely entirely dependent on your appreciation for the the mecha genre. If you liked the Armored Core series, and From Software’s last entry before abandoning it to jump ship to the Souls IP, could very well sate an itch you’ve probably had for a long time.
Optimal Range
It’s an interesting, strange concept. I’d wanted to write about Daemon X Machina but before I could really sit down and do that properly, I had to go through and try out all the different weapons. In doing so, I immediately found myself disappointed the more I experimented with certain common weapon types, which essentially […]
“Making content is HARD”
Since Destiny 2 has been released, Bungie has been underusing content that by and large they’ve already made. It’s a pretty well known secret that most of the content that made up Destiny 2’s initial launch and Year 1 DLC drops isn’t really anything actually new, but instead content that was planned for Destiny 1. […]
Soft, Not Hard
Destiny 2’s Shadowkeep should, by all means, be a fairly wonderful expansion. Unfortunately, it’s just not quite there. There’s a few issues, and the first and foremost, is that whether or not you will appreciate the expansion will probably vary greatly depending on whether or not you’ve experienced Destiny 1 on a console and if […]
Older Is Better, But It’s Still Old
Cube World, Pt. 3 Older isn’t always better, but there’s definitely areas in which it is. For example, I am definitely not a fan of the direction UIs went, and it’s not just necessarily being old and curmudgeonly: there was a systemic organization of most of the functions associated with any given program, that generally, […]
Square Block, Round Hole
Cube World, Pt. 2 I sit here, with but one task in front of me, complain. The problem is some issue where I just don’t want to, not because of whether or not there’s value in it, but because whatever value is there, my head is screaming, it’s negative. So what should be one of […]
Disappointment World
(Cube World, Pt. 1) It’s been awhile, but I guess I’ve been pretty disappointed in a lot of things and haven’t really found much inspiration, or, I guess more appropriately, I don’t really want to write about the things that have disappointed the hell out of me, in my opinion, they just don’t need that […]
